The CompuTach Computer Tachometer is perfect those people that like to keep a close eye on the current state of their computer’s performance.
The CompuTach Computer Tachometer displays computer performance stats in real-time on an automotive style analog gauge, just like the dashboard in your car. This cool gadget monitors CPU performance (CPU, RAM, Temperature, and Ping Speed) in real-time.
It has an analog dial to indicate the load on the subsystem you’re monitoring and customizable LED lighting. The LED lighting can react depending on load. It’s really cool to see it shift from a cool blue to a hot red when the CPU is straining.
If you’re worried about losing performance to the monitoring software, don’t. The included proprietary software was coded “as close to the metal” as possible, so there is an absolute minimum parasitic load. That ensures your computing power is used for the current application – not for running the performance monitor itself.
The computer mounts to your computer screen or desk and provides a unique and easy way to easily see the CPU, RAM, Temperature, and Ping Speed at a glance.
As I write this, the project hasn’t been fully funded yet. However, there are still 28 days to go so, it will probably make it. If you sign up for it and it makes its goal, you can expect to see your unit as early as next month.
