The SwitchCase is a rubber case that features Replaceable Grips for Nintendo Switch game consoles/tablets.
It came about because some folks found that because of its size and flat back, it is difficult to hold the console and play the games for a long period of time. At least without making their hands tired. So they started a Kickstarter project to make a case for the Switch that provide two comfortable grips, just like the PS4 and XB1 joy-cons.
They also designed a case to store the tablet with the SwitchCase on. This carrying case can swallow almost everything you can imagine, such as power bank, adapter, USB cable, headset, game cards, joy-con grips and etc.
Basically, they came up with the ultimate carry/storage solution for your prized Nintendo Switch.
The SwitchCase easily and quickly slips on and off of your Switch hardware without tools and without leaving a mark. This is because the SwitchCase is made of soft TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) material. It’s similar to the silicone, a environmental friendly material has been wildly used to make cell phone protective cases.
There are two different grips that can be swapped out. The SnapGrip is good for most games and smaller hands. The TriggerGrip is for bigger hands or hard-core games where you are going to be frantically mashing buttons.
The grips are available in one of two color choices (Grey or Neon Red and Blue) but, they may start making more options later.
The project is on Kickstarter and is fully funded with about 2 months left to go. Units are expected to ship in October. So, they’ll be ready when Nintendo finally makes more Switches available for purchase before Christmas.
