The Voynich Manuscript

If you’ve always wanted your own hard copy of the mysterious Voynich Manuscript, it’s your lucky day!

Wait? You’ve never heard of the Voynich Manuscript? Really? Ok, I’ll explain it…

This book is some shit right out of Ancient Aliens on the History Channel. It was named after the Polish guy who discovered it in 1912. Conveniently enough, his last name was Voynich. Hence, the Voynich Manuscript.

The manuscript is written in an unknown and undecipherable language and is full of weird illustrations, spells, tables, charts, and other random crap. Carbon dating and other analysis has shown that it was probably created in in northern Italy during the 15th century. However, no one knows for sure.

Scientists have no clue as to the purpose of the book, but it has captured the imagination of people since it’s discovery. And that’s despite the fact that none of them know what the hell it even is.

Personally, I agree with Randall Munroe‘s (the creator of the XKCD web-comic) theory.

So, now that you know what it is, why would you want a copy? Well, having a copy would make you seem more educated and mysterious than you probably are. I’m sure you can work out how that would be a good thing.
